Online Therapy

I work in a highly person-centred and compassionate way, which means I will always aim to create a space that feels safe, thoughtful, and free from judgement.

Therapy should never feel like being analysed or pushed in a direction you’re not ready to take. I will work carefully at your pace and tailor my approach to your individual needs and experiences.

Online Therapy | Online Therapist

During therapy, we will work together to develop a deeper understanding of the difficulties you are facing, the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and the emotional experiences that sit beneath them. Alongside this, therapy can help you develop new ways of coping, responding to distress, and moving towars the life you want to live.

I can support people with a wide range of difficulties, including:

  • depression and low mood
  • anxiety
  • low self-esteem
  • grief and bereavement
  • struggles with identity and self-understanding
  • relationship difficulties
  • loneliness and isolation
  • feeling stuck, lost, or directionless
  • the emotional impact of serious illness

Many people coming to therapy for the first time worry that they will not know what to say, or how to begin. Part of my role is helping people find the words for experiences that can feel confusing, painful, or difficult to express.

I believe that our thoughts, emotions, and reactions always make sense in the context of our experiences, even when they may initially feel overwhelming or difficult to understand. Therapy is a space where we can begin making sense of those experiences together.

Therapeutic Approaches

I use an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from a range of evidence-based psychological therapies and adapting these to best meet each person’s needs.

The approaches that most influence my work include:

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT),
  • Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT),
  • Narrative approaches,
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT),
  • Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT),
  • and systemic approaches.

My work is also strongly influenced by humanistic and relational approaches to therapy, particularly the importance of psychological safety, compassion, and the therapeutic relationship itself.
